Where are you from?
I was born in Lisbon. My parents came from the countryside, seeking for a job and a better life. I was in the navy for 9 years while I was involved with youth organizations, then I started with Portuguese Blue Cross where I am Executive Director and voluntary since 1995. In 2018 I and my wife Susana started this amazing company with this primary goal: sharing it with friends in economic need.
How would you describe yourself?
I like people, especially the not perfect ones. I don’t give up easily and I like new challenges.
Favourite part of your job?
To see a team committed and realized with the job and its results; I like to surprise them with new ideas and challenges; and its a great reward when a client in difficulties can see his problem resolved.
